Happy Folk is an Americana duo based out of Portland, Maine. Their musical genre is one of a kind, breaking the boundaries of jazz, funk, folk, and psychedelic americana to create the ultimate jam. Hailing from the minds of Aria Zarnoski and Nik Hasenfus, the couple’s philosophy aims to spread community and true happiness through encouraging others to follow their own pursuits of happiness. Less than two years old, Happy Folk is excited to release their first album, Pursuits of Happiness within the coming year of 2017, and are already working on their second album, Omage. The group is continuing to grow and fluctuate with ever-changing guests; they play various bars, gatherings, and venues; spreading their infectious joy throughout New England.
